The location - near the main square but away so it's quiet and convenient. The staffs - there is no question the staffs are going out of their way to help customer, from calling taxi and restaurant, to provide any towels or amenities. Hotel also provide one bottle of water per customer everyday which is very needed and helpful. The room - we stayed twice at this hotel and had different rooms assigned to us. Both are super nicely decorated, spacious, and with modern bathroom. The staff told us the hotel used to be a bishop"s residence. The hotel is very much Spanish style. You won't notice the entrance, but inside is huge, courtyard by courtyard. The breakfast - it is OK, typical breakfast buffet plus egg/sweet/coffee dishes on order. We loved the sauteed quinoa, but it didn't serve every morning. hotel rotate breakfast offerings.

In general, the hotel is good. Location is great, it is of rich Peruvian culture, facilities are unique too. However, for about $300 per night, I think the service is not up to standards. One day (24+ hours) before I arrived, I messaged the hotel to request the free shuttle bus they offer, i received no response at. i finally got response from hotel one day after I already stayed there. Another thing is breakfast. It is indeed good quality, but not much variety and very much western food instead of local cuisine.

Super location; close to the main plaza, but a block away, on a sidestreet so very quiet. Close to old churches, Sasakywaman (sp) is must see; 20 mins by taxi. The staff allowed us to leave our larger suitcases at the hotel, while we went to Machu Picchu -- Very convenient. Whirlpool for two in the bathroom. Comfy bed. I was concerned about altitude sickness, coming from Florida, but maybe the cocoa leaf tea they offered did the trick..! The hotel itself is literally a small museum...

We visited the hotel for our anniversary and it exceeded our expectations. They surprised us with an upgrade to a suite which made us really happy. The staff was always smiling and helpful- thumbs up to Guido. The restaurant and breakfast were very tasty. It was like we were living in a museum, every corner was special. The location was also very central, 2 minutes walk from the main square of Cusco. Thank you again for this wonderful stay and we look forward to come back!

This hotel is beautiful inside! The entire staff from the front door, front desk, restaurant, and housekeeping are so friendly and helpful. The room is nice and comfortable. The bathroom is beautiful with lovely granite and a jetted bathtub. The restaurant has delicious food. The breakfast buffet has plenty of options to satisfy everyone's needs. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. We felt very well taken care of.
